Fiji is an archipelago of over 300 islands in the Southern Pacific Ocean. It is known for an array of things such as its pristine beaches, beautiful turquoise waters, and warm welcoming atmosphere. With so many islands to choose from, there is an island that fits every travelers needs while on the road. 

I visited Fiji last month and could not get over how much it reminded me of the screensaver of my old Dell computer from growing up. As we ventured further away from the mainland, we found the water to continue to glow every shade of blue. Fiji is a tropical paradise that felt like I was living in a dream.

Not only was Fiji’s landscape incredible but the people there were beyond welcoming to travelers in their home country. When we walked around exploring, we were always greeted with a warm smile and hello from the locals. In addition, we were welcomed with open arms and the  most genuine “welcome home” at each new island we arrived at. 

How beautiful and comforting it was to feel at home on an island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean that was thousands of miles away from my family and hometown. There was something so sweet and unique about Fiji’s hospitality that hit me different in the sweetest way.

If you are ever contemplating a warm tropical destination for your travels, make sure to have Fiji at the top of your list!
